It has taken us a bit of time, probably about eighteen months in all, to get here but we’ve made it. DCB Miniatures opens for business in its own right today. We are moving away from being an e-Bay only seller to having a shop of our own. Ok it’s still an on line shop but it’s our shop.

This new format allows us to share more of what we do with you. Not just the finished product but some of the process that goes into creating it. It will allow us to listen to what you think of our products and to see what you would like us to add to our line up. And also to show you some of the different ways or products can be used.

So what can you expect from your experience with us?

Because we want you to order from us with confidence we currently only use PayPal, which allows you to purchase online using any major credit card or bank account. We believe this will give you the confidence and peace of mind that your credit card number and details will remain secure and private.

Once you have filled up your shopping cart and are happy to proceed, all you need to to do is click on the ‘Purchase’ button. PayPal with then take over and deal with all of the financials.

So what does this mean? Well PayPal is an account-based system that lets anyone with an e-mail address securely send and receive online payment using their credit / debit card or bank account. All payments are made over a secure encrypted connection so credit card numbers and private details cannot be stolen in transit. We believe this is as secure as online ordering can be.

Also because all payment processing is handled by PayPal we never handle or even see your credit card or bank account details. All credit card processing is handled by PayPal whose primary concern is security.

Once you have completed the transaction with PayPal you will be returned to DCB Miniatures and asked to confirm the transaction with us. This is the point where you are saying that you are happy for PayPal to release the funds to us and for us to begin processing your order.

What happens next?  PayPal will send you an e-mail to confirm their part of the process and we will send you an e-mail confirming that we have received the order (listing the contents of the order). We will then package up your order and get it in the post to you. We will do this as quickly as possible, but it can take a couple of days. Orders from the UK will be shipped out by Royal Mail First Class post and all other orders will be shipped out using Royal Mail Airmail.

All that you need to do then is sit back and wait with eager anticipation for the post man or women (post person just sounds wrong) to deliver your package and then enjoy it.
